New shop!!

Gisteren heeft mijn scrap-vriendin en CT-member Fiona haar eigen shop geopend! Haar eerste release is Keep on Swimming, perfect voor alle zwembad-, aquarium-, aqua-zoo- en Finding Nemo layouts. Natuurlijk heb ik hier ook mee geknutseld. En ik heb ook een paar van haar andere kits (vaak freebies geweest) gebruikt.

Yesterday my scrapping friend and CT-member opened her own shop! Her first release is Keep on Swimming, perfect for all those swimmingpool, aquaria, aquazoo and Finding Nemo Layouts. Of course I made a scrap with it. And I used some of her other kits too (mostly former freebies).

To go with this new release, I made you a little freebie. It turned out to be a wordart and a stacked paper. You can download it here, no password needed!

Are you sleeping?

Vandaag heeft Designs by Sarah wel een heel slaperige kit: While you were sleeping is geïnspireerd op die prinses die wel 100 jaar slaapt! ;-) Ik vond alleen 1 prinses niet voldoende, dus heb meteen het hele blik Disney prinsessen maar opengetrokken voor mijn layout!

Today Designs by Sarah has quite a sleepy new kit: While you were sleeping is inspired on the princess who sleeps for 100 years. ;-) I just couldn't leave it with just one princess, so my layout is jampacked with all the Disney Princesses we ever met!

Rectification about Rebel Girl

Vandaag kreeg ik te horen dat de prinses die ik had gemaakt voor Rebel Girl gemaakt was met een template die alleen voor Personal Use bedoeld was. Aangezien ik de bewuste designer niet wil schaden, heb ik Rebel Girl enige tijd niet verkoopbaar gehad. Wel ben ik meteen begonnen met het maken van een nieuwe prinses. Die is nu aan de kit toegevoegd en zichtbaar op de preview. De eerste prinses heb ik verwijderd. Ook de freebie heb ik aangepast met de nieuwe prinses.

Today it was brought to my attention that the princess I made for Rebel Girl had been made with a template that was meant to be for Personal Use only. I don't want to harm the original designer, so I put down Rebel Girl for a while in my shop. I started on creating a new princess and she has been added to the kit and the preview. The first princess has been removed (from kit and preview) and even the freebie has changed.



You can download the freebie here again, with the new princess. If you already have the old princess, please delete that one and replace with the new one! Thanks for your understanding.

Basic Black and Yellow

Vandaag weer twee nieuwe releases in mijn Basic Kits serie: Black en Yellow. De eerste om een klassieke uitstraling te geven, de tweede voor een beetje zonneschijn in je scrapsels. Natuurlijk heb ik ook zelf een pagina gemaakt, waarbij ik beide kits heb gecombineerd!

Today I have two new releases in my Basic Kits sequence: Black and Yellow. The first one to add some classical touches, the second to throw some sunshine into your pages. Of course I made a page myself in which I combined both kits!

Almost Autumn

Bijna herfst en dat is te merken. De temperaturen dalen, de dagen worden korter en de blaadjes aan de bomen beginnen te verkleuren. Om de herfst te vieren heeft Designs by Sarah een nieuwe kit gemaakt: Colors of Autumn. En ik heb me uitgeleefd met een nieuwe template waarmee ik een 2-pager kon maken!

Almost Autumn and you can feel it. Temperatures are going down, days are getting shorter and the leaves are changing color. To celebrate autumn Designs by Sarah made a new kit: Colors of Autumn. And I went loose with a new template, I made a 2-pager!

Het is vandaag alweer 11 jaar geleden dat de wereld door één terreurdaad voorgoed veranderde. Voor mij is het wel één van de meest indrukwekkende gebeurtenissen uit de recente geschiedenis geweest. Dus daarom: een freebie zodat we dit nooit vergeten!
Today it's 11 years ago that by one terrorist act the world changed forever. Fot me it's one of the most impressive acts that happened in recent history. So that's why: a freebie so we'll never forget!

Rebel at the Park

Vandaag niet 1 maar 2 nieuwe releases! De eerste is gemaakt met de zelfde kleuren als van de Designer Challenge. Ik vond de kleuren erg jongens- en dierentuinachtig, dus die twee heb ik gecombineerd. Dat resulteerde in Boys at the Park, in de sale tot aan mijn nieuwe release!

De tweede kit is gebaseerd op de nieuwste Disney prinses. Aangezien zij rebeleert tegen het regiem van haar father, heb ik die kit Rebel Girl genoemd. Ook deze is in de sale!

Today I don't have just 1 new release, no I have 2 new kits to go in my store. The first one is made with the same colors I used for the Designer Challenge. I thought these colors were quite boy-ish and zoo-ish, so I combined these two into Boys at the Park. It's on sale untill my next release!

The second kit is based on the newest Disney Princess. Because she rebeling against her father's regime, I named this kit Rebel Girl. This one is on sale too!

Vandaag is al weer de release van de complete kit die gemaakt is voor Designer Challenge #5 van MouseScrappers. Natuurlijk heb ik ook weer mee gedaan en heb een minikit gemaakt. Morgen heb ik ook nog een grote release, gemaakt in het zelfde thema en met de zelfde kleuren. En ik heb ook een freebie gemaakt voor de blogtrain. Today is the release of the complete kit made for Designer Challenge #5 at MouseScrappers. Of course I joined in and made a minikit. Tomorrow I'll have a big release, made in the same theme and with the same colors. And I made a freebie with which I join in the blogtrain. Scroll down to get all the information!

Ook Designs by Sarah heeft meegedaan met de Designer Challenge en ook zij is te vinden in de blogtrain. Zij heeft echter ook een grote kit gemaakt met een paar kleine kleuraanpassingen: Robotica. Finally, Back to Basic again!

Nu ik mijn externe harde schijf weer terug heb, kon ik eindelijk weer verder met kits uit de Basic Kits serie. Natuurlijk koos ik direct voor mijn favorite kleuren: roze en paars! Beide kits zijn nu met 50% korting te verkrijgen in mijn shop. Dat betekent dus twee kits voor de prijs van 1! Veel scrapplezier.

Now that I have my external hard disk back, I finally could go on with my Basic Kits sequence. Of course I choose my favorite colors: pink and purple. Both kits are with 50% discount in my shop. So that makes two kits for the price of just 1! Happy scrapping!

New shop, new CT

Vandaag opent mijn CT-lid Kelly dan eindelijk haar eigen winkeltje by Scrapable onder de naam 'Arts and Ains'. Ze heeft mij gevraagd of ik ook wat voor haar wilde knutselen, dus bij deze! De eerste kit is Down at the County Fair. De tweede is From Sea to Shining Sea. En ook al woon ik niet in Amerika, toch kon ik iets knutselen met haar kits! Zie hier het resultaat! ;-)

Today my CT-member Kelly finally opens here own store at Scrapable using the name 'Arts and Ains'. She asked me if could create something for her, so here it is! Choo choo, it's the vacation blogtrain!

Ja, er is weer een nieuwe blogtrain uit gereden. Deze keer hebben we op het Dutch Digiscrap Forum gekozen voor een zomers thema. De scholen zijn weer begonnen, of gaan bijna beginnen, dus tijd om al die zomerse herinneringen te scrappen. Ik heb meteen de kans gegrepen om een zomerse kit voor mijn shop te maken. Vanaf vandaag is daar Shells and Shovels te vinden, gemaakt met de kleuren voor de blogtrain. Natuurlijk heb ik ook een add-on gemaakt. Als je naar beneden scrollt, kom je vanzelf bij alle info! ;-)

Yes, it's time for a new blogtrain to leave the station! This time the members of the Dutch Digiscrap Board choose a summer theme. Schools have already started or will start soon here in Holland, so it's time to scrap those summermemories. I also took the chance to make a new summer kit to go into my shop. From now on, Shells and Shovels will be available, made with the colors for the blogtrain. Of course I made an add-on too. If you scroll down, you'll find all the info! ;-) And I made a layout myself.

Bugs in the Backyard!

Oh, wat heb ik toch een hekel aan dat kleine gespuis in de tuin... Nee, insecten behoren zeker niet tot mijn favoriete dieren. Aan de andere kant, vlinders en lieveheersbeestjes vind ik weer wel leuk. Maar goed, Designs by Sarah heeft weer een nieuwe kit, speciaal voor al die kleine vriendjes die in de tuin te vinden zijn: Backyard Bugs! En zoals je ziet, hoef je je heus niet in een wespennest te steken om een leuke layout te maken! ;-)

Oh, I just don't like those little creatures in the garden... No, insects don't get high on my favorite animal list! On the other hand, I do love butterflies and ladybugs. Anyway, Designs by Sarah has a new kit, especially for those little friends you find in your garden: Backyard Bugs! And as you can see, you really don't have to put your nose in a wasp's nest to get a cute layout.

N'Ice and Sweet, again

Twee weken geleden heb ik deze layout ook gepost. Alleen... toen bleek dat Designs by Sarah een paar dingen had omgedraaid. En ik was op vakantie, had keurig mij post op de automatisch piloot gezet, en had dus niet meegekregen dat toen Tee-riffic werd gereleasd. Daarom vandaag bij mij Tee-riffic in de spotlights, hoewel nu dus eindelijk N'Ice and Sweet uitkomt!

Two weeks ago I also posted the upper layout. But... afterwards I found out that Designs by Sarah had changed some things. I was on vacation, had my blogpost pre-posted and didn't know Tee-riffic was about to released instead of N'Ice and Sweet. Anyway, although N'Ice and Sweet is released today, I'm highlighting Tee-riffic!

Afgelopen maand was er weer een Designer Challenge bij MouseScrappers. Deze keer werd er geen kleurenpalet gegeven, maar moesten we scrappen met het thema 'Big Thunder Mountain'. Nu is dat één van mij favoriete attracties, dus dat leek me geen probleem! Toch vond ik het lastiger dan verwacht. Uiteindelijk heb ik een minikitje weten te maken. En natuurlijk is er ook een blogtrain (hoe toepasselijk bij dit thema).

Designs by Sarah heeft hier ook aan mee gedaan. Zij had zoveel inspiratie dat ze naast haar aandeel in de MouseScrappers kit, ook nog een minikit voor het shop heeft gemaakt. En die is daar nu te vinden. Natuurlijk heb ik met haar kit ook zelf geknutseld. Dit is een foto van onze vakantie vorige week!

Last month there has been a new Designer Challenge at MouseScrappers. This time there wasn't a colorpalet provided, but a theme. We all had to make something with the theme of 'Big Thunder Mountain'. Since this is one of my favorite rides, I thought it wouldn't be a problem. Well, it was harder then expected. At the end I made a minikit. And of course there's a blogtrain, too! (Isn't it funny with this theme?).
Designs by Sarah joined in the fun as well. She had so much inspiration that she made a minikit for her shop as well as a part of the MouseScrappers kit! Of course I made a layout with her part. This is a photo of our last week's vacation! ;-)
