Hygge, the Danish art of living

Hygge is the Danish art of being comfy and cozy, a way of living and part of their national character. It is mostly expressed in their interiors, with lots of natural colors and comfortable fabrics. It is also a state of mind in an atmosphere of warmth, wellbeing and cosiness. It's when you feel at peace and being able to enjoy the simple pleasures of life and being in the moment.

To scrap those moments of comfort and joy, you can use this kit Hygge. The colors may be a bit winter-ish, but summer can have those colder days as well. So grab a hot drink, a warm blanket, a pile of books and take your moment of hygge. Or maybe you turn on a campfire and enjoy those moments of doing nothing.

Happy Hour: Cherry Berry Fruitalicious

Today, June 25th, a new Happy Hour will be here. These months colors made me think of all those fresh picked summer fruits: cherries, berries, watermelons, lemons, apples, pears and pineapples. Getting hunry? Cherries, berries and more delicious summer fruit is available everywhere. From June until September you can harvest so many sweet gems from the orchard. And these are healthier than any candy, but just as sweet. So if you made some trips to the orchard, a fruit festival or the fruit stand, you can now scrap those memories. And don't forget your picnics or your babies first fruit tastings. Memories as sweet as the fruit it self. Check it out in my shop here.

Inspired by a page a friend made, I created these templates. With a funky layered background and place for 1, 2, 3 or 4 photos, these templates will make for great single or double pages.

Each template comes with psd and tiff files, single png-layers have been added for your convenience. No shadows nor elements have been added to leave room for your own creativity. And you can find them here in my shop.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S.... that is how you spell friends. We are... just friends!

Just Friends is all about being friends. This could be between girls, boys or a boy and a girl. It is all about having fun together, wanting to spend time together and just have a great time. It's not about a love relationship at all.

So if you want to scrap you and your bestie, your kids playing with other kids or your teen's BFF, it is all possible with Just Friends.

After Hours: Puppy Love

Your very first crush or romantic feelings is called 'puppy love'. It is named for its resemblance to the adoring, worshipful affection that may be felt by a puppy. Puppy Love is a common experience in the process of maturing, it's the first time they feel love for someone who is not part of the family.

This inspired me to create something with puppies/dogs and love, because a kid can fall in love with an animal or character as well. And dogs are part of the family, right? Puppy Love is now available as full kit and contains the solids, the Love paper pack, the Puppy paper pack, the Love elements, the Puppy elements and the alpha pack. These packs were made for May's Happy Hour and are also available as single pack. The add-ons are also still available.

Today it's $2 Tuesday again. Since in June it is either turning summer or winter, I added a kit for both seasons. This week I added Winter Romance and H2O. So if you have been looking at these, now is your time to get them for just $2 each. But only today, Tuesday June 5th!

Today is the first Sunday of the month and that means: Sunday Specials! To celebrate Father's Day this month, I added Father's Day and Wood Dude to this category. That means that, for 1 day only, both kits are available for only $1! But... only on Sunday, June 3.
