Stand By Me, Charity Collab

If any of you were following the story about (QueenWild, designer at Scraps-'n-Pieces) Lahni's husband John when he was electrocuted on the job last month you will already know this story.  For those of you that haven't heard here is the story.

On Wednesday October 23rd, John was working in Banff. He was up in the bucket, working with streat lights and received an electric shock. He was taken to the hospital via STARS air ambulance. He was put into a medically induced coma for 24 hours as he had been without oxygen for 5-15 minutes and the hypothermic state was to help minimize the possible brain damage.  He is expected to make a full recovery and is out of the hospital and back home with his family at this time.

We came together as designers here and from some other stores to show our support for Lahni and John by making this kit to help raise some money for their lodging and food while John was in the hospital and to help with donations to STARS - the air ambulance that most probably saved John's life.

Thankful Alpha

Vandaag even een snelle post, met alleen deze nieuwe release. Thankful Alpha is nu in mijn shop te vinden. Ik heb voor bruin gekozen, omdat dat bij de tijd van het jaar past. Zoals je op mijn eigen layout kunt zien, is herkleuren ook geen probleem!

Today I'll leave it short and simple, it's just this new release. Thankful Alpha is now in my store. I choose brown to go with this time of year, but as you can see on my page, it could easily be recolored.

Hallo-Kids: DC#13 bloghop & (i)DSD Sale

Nighty Shadows to scare up some fun!

Ja, het is de tijd van het jaar: donkere nachten, mist aan de grond en heksen, spoken en ander gespuis door de straten. Hoewel, hier in Nederland vieren we natuurlijk geen Halloween, hoewel het steeds meer te vinden is (vooral in de pretparken). Nighty Shadows gaat over al het gespuis dat rond deze tijd weer door de nachten waart. Deze nieuwe kit is nu, samen met een extra paper pack, in mijn shop te vinden. De eerste week met korting. ;-)

Yes, it's that time of the year: dark nights, fog near the ground and witches, ghosts and other creepy creatures in the Streets. Il Primo Bacio

De eerste kus, wie herinnert zich die niet? Ik wel in ieder geval. Een echte 'French Kiss', want gegeven door een Fransoos, op vakantie in Frankrijk. Toen ik jaren later tijdens mijn studie in Rome was, zag ik daar shirts met de tekst: 'Il Primo Bacio' (De Eerste Kus), samen met 2 engeltjes. Zo schattig! Dat was dan ook de inspiratie toen ik dit kleurenpalet zag. Il Primo Bacio en de verschillende add-ons (brads, flairs, stickers, wordart, extra alphas en extra papers) zijn allemaal in mijn shop te vinden. Met korting gedurende de eerste week!

The first kiss, who doesn't remember it? I do for sure. A real 'French Kiss', given by a French boy while on vacation in France. Years later I was on a fieldtrip with college in Rome and there I saw T-shirts with the sentence 'Il Primo Bacio' (The First Kiss). It also had two angels/cherubs on it. So cute. So when I saw this colorpalette I knew the theme immediately. Il Primo Bacio and the add-ons (brads, flairs, stickers, wordart, extra alphas and extra papers) are now available in my shop. September is almost over...

Het is bijna niet voor te stellen, maar over 3 maanden zijn we al weer aan het eind van dit jaar. Dat betekent dus ook dat we op het Noordelijk Halfrond al weer herfst hebben... Wat gaat het toch snel allemaal... Dat betekent ook dat september al weer bijna voorbij is en dus is het tijd voor de P12 release van deze maand. P12-September is dan ook nu in mijn shop te vinden, met korting de eerste week. ;-)

It's quite unbelievable but this year is over in three months! It also means that at the Northern Hemisphere it is autumn already! Time really flies. It also means that September is almost over, so it's time for my new P12 release. P12-September is now in my shop, on sale for the first week. ;-)

DBT: Back to School and Start Positive Thinking!

Het is al weer september, ongelooflijk toch? Wat vliegt dit jaar voorbij. Het goede er aan is dat het wel weer tijd is voor een digiblogtrein. Nou ja, ik geloof dat ik de enige ben die iets heeft... De bedoeling was om met elkaar te werken aan het thema 'Back to School and Start Positive Thinking'. Vooral dat laatste vond ik toch wel lastiger dan verwacht. En aangezien mijn dochter morgen weer naar school gaat, ben ik toch meer met dat thema aan de gang gegaan. Mijn gedeelte bestaat uit 3 delen. Het eerste deel is hier te downloaden (of klik op de preview), het tweede gedeelte staat op mijn facebook pagina en het derde gedeelte (de alpha) is alleen voor mijn nieuwsbrieflezers!

It's September already, can you believe it? This year is really flying by. The good thing is that it is time again for the digiblogtrain. Well, I think I'm the only one who has something... The plan was to work together on the theme 'Back to School and Start Positive Thinking'. Especially that last thing was harder than I thought it would be. And because my daughter has to go back to school tomorrow, I went more with that theme. My part is seperated in three. The first part can be downloaded here (or click on the upper preview), the second part is available on my facebook page and the thrid part (the alpha) is only for those who receive the newsletter.
