DC#37: Break The InternetBloghop & minikit

Welcome to a new MouseScrappers' Designer Challenge and bloghop. DC#37 was all about colors, that made me think of mermaids. But since I have done so many mermaids already, I wanted to do something else. One of my CTM mentioned Wreck-It Ralph and I realized there is a new movie coming at the end this year. In that movie they go on the digital highway to save the internet. Perfect to combine some technology with Disney.

To go with the challenge I decided to create a minikit. Part of this minikit was my submission to the challenge, but the kit contains more (although the submission contains an exclusive alpha). You can get the minikit Break The Internet in my shop. It will be on sale during September 2018.

With the challenge comes a bloghop as well. I created a Mickey-Style freebie again.

DC36: Port of Call

Finally, a new Designer Challenge at Mousescrappers! We got some great colors and I decided to add 2 more. Together it made up for the perfect cruise minikit. So I decided to add the minikit I created as my submission to the challenge also to my shop. So all of you will be able to get it! Butterfly Garden

Have you ever visited a butterfly garden? Isn't it a magical place where all those gorgeous butterflies flutter by? And it's even more magical when you visit a special garden event in the happiest place on earth. Inspired by that specific event and part of that specific theme park, this kit can be used for anything spring-ish. From your kids chasing butterflies to anything in your garden. And don't forget your trips to a tropical garden or just those butterflies you'll find in your neighborhood. Or have you been growing your own butterflies and did you release them? Don't forget to scrap that as well.

DC35 Bloghop: Butterfly Garden

It is finally here, the latest Designer Challenge at MouseScrappers. It has been a while, but I was happy to find out the challenge is back and we got these gorgeous colors. I only added to shades of green to go with the garden theme I wanted to do. As my submission I made these 2 full alphas. They can go with any theme the others picked adn add that fairytale-Disney feel to any page.

DC34: World of Pandora

It's that time again: time to reveal the latest Designer Challenge. This month we got a theme: the newly opened part at Animal Kingdom, which is all about Pandora, the World of Avatar. I haven't been there (yet, who knows we'll make it one day) nor have I seen the movie Avatar, so I had to watch some movies on YouTube to get inspired. And it worked. I picked these colors from shots I found on the internet, created my own palette and worked on this feebie for you. It's all in Mickey style and I think you can use it for any Pandora pic you have, but also for anything at night.

Speed Scrap Marathon

DC33: Bloghop

Welcome to a new Designer Challenge Bloghop! This time we got to choose: we got a theme (Star Wars) and a colorpalette. It was up to us if we went with the theme, the palette or both. I went with the palette, added two extra colors and with then the 'star' part of the theme. This way it can be used for both the theme and the palette contributions.
For the bloghop I made another Mickey Style freebie. Always useful for those Disney related pages, right?

DC32: Fairy Garden, Bloghop

Welcome to another Designer Challenge Bloghop. I joined again in the challenge at MouseScrappers. Can you believe it was challenge 32 already?
Anyway, the colors made me think of fairies, gardens and spring. So my theme is Fairy Garden. I had hoped to be able to create a full kit with these colors as well, but real life got in the way.

DC#31 is here!

Yes, MouseScrapper's Designer Challenge #31 got revealed today! The colors made me think of the national flags/banners of several countries you can visit at Epcot's World Showcase. But since I ran out of time, I only did some basics and a Mickey Style add-on for the bloghop. Nothing really exciting, but since it's all so basic, you can use if with so many other kits you have already, so you'll love it anyway!

DC#30: Under African Sky

At MouseScrappers they hosted the 30th Designer Challenge! And, I joined in all of them. This time we got colors again. They made me think of the African savanna while the sun is setting. It also made me think of the Lion King.

To go with the challenge, I made a full kit as well. All about life under the African sky and on the savanna. The kit contains lions, giraffes and elephants, but also baobab trees and African masks. And when you buy Under African Sky at Scrappy Bee, you'll get my submission for the challenge for free as well. It's included in your download links and contains gradiënt papers and 2 full alphas.

With the challenge and the new release, I also joined in the bloghop. I created a Mickey style add on.

Coming in 2017

Yes, the new year is almost here. Time to look forward and see what I have in store for you. Well... in store? Here are two sneak peeks for freebies coming soon to my blog, faceook and newsletter. So stay tuned on what is coming in the new year.

Sparkling Fall

Sparkling Fall is partly my submission to the Designer Challenge at MouseScrappers (I made the solid papers and the 5 full alphas for the challenge). To make it a minikit to go into my shops at With Love Studio and Scrappy Bee, I added the glittersheets and 25 basic elements (like flowers, frames, foliage and ribbons). It all has a touch of sparkle... Well, I think the pixie dust bowl slipped out of my hands and into this kit... It has a lot of sparkle, just like the sun shining on the raindrops on fallen leaves. Have a sparkling fall!

DC#29: Sparkling Fall

Can you imagine I joined in MouseScrappers' 29th Designer Challenge? Me neither. But this time it was a challenge for sure. I really had no clue of what to do create with the colors we got. So when I ran out of time, I dedecided these were fall colors and I kept it simple for myself by only creating the solid papers and 5 full alphas as my submission. This submission can also be found in the minikit I made (will show you tomorrow. I added a touch of sparkle to the alphas and of course I added that same touch of sparkle to the coordinating Mickey Style freebie!

DC28: At The Candy Shop

So sorry for the delay on this bloghop as well. I hope you understood I have been sick and couldn't get this posted before.

At MouseScrappers there had been a new Designer Challenge, with colors again. I liked the colors, but wasn't sure what to do with them at first. They made me think of Halloween and sweets, so I decided to go with the Candy Shop theme. At least every themepark has one or more of them and these shops are like heaven on earth for a lot of kids and adults too. Well, I love to browse around and see new treats or just get me some favorites. Of course I made a small minikit as my submission, with lot's of wordstrips, gradiënt papers and a sweet alpha. You get if for free when you buy the full kit. The full contains 18 papers, 40 sweet elements and 1 full alpha as well. And... I didn't want to miss out on the bloghop as well, so I made a Mickey style minikit too!

Designer Challenge #27Bloghop!

De afgelopen weken heb ik weer meegedaan aan de Designer Challenge van MouseScrappers. Uitdaging #27 alweer! Gelukkig had ik deze keer bij de kleuren al snel een idee: de nieuwste Disney film Finding Dory! Veel vissen en andere onderzeese creaties, water en golven en vooral veel wordbits. De mega kit wordt morgen getoond, maar de Mickey Style Freebie kan ik nu al laten zien!

The last few weeks I have joined in the new Designer Challenge at MouseScrappers. Challenge #27 already! Luckily I had an idea pretty soon after seeing the colors: the newest Disney movie Finding Dory! A lot of fish and other under-the-sea creations, water and waves and a ton of wordbits. The mega kit wil be showed tomorrow, but you get to see the Mickey Style Freebie right now!

With these challenges there's always a bloghop. As said I have Mickey Style freebie for you to go with this.

Aloha Family (DC#26)

Voor Designer Challenge #26 kregen we deze keer weer een kleurenpalet. In eerste instantie had ik er wat moeite mee... ik zag er echt niks in. Gelukkig bracht mijn dochter uitkomst, zij zag direct de kleuren van haar lievelings character: Stitch! Lekker tropisch met een buitenaards tintje, dat is de minkit die ik heb gemaakt. Aloha Family is nu verkrijgbaar in mijn shop, net als de alphas die ik als inzending had gemaakt. Tot 13 mei kost beiden maar $1!

For Designer Challenge #26 we got a color palette again. At first I had no idea of what to do with these, but luckily my daighter saw something, she saw her favorite character: Stitch! Pretty tropical with a touch of outer space, that's the way my minikit turned out. Aloha Family is now available in my shop, and so are the alphas I made as my submission. Until May 13 both are available for only $1 each!
