Happy Birthday Disneyland Resort Paris!

Vandaag is het precies 20 jaar geleden dat Disneyland Parijs eindelijk haar deuren opende! Om dat te vieren hebben we een Blogtrain bedacht waarbij iedereen een gedeelte van het park voor haar/zijn rekening nam. Ik kreeg Fantasyland toe bedeeld, wat ik helemaal niet erg vond, dat zijn tenslotte precies de kleuren waar ik van hou! Toch vond ik het moeilijker dan verwacht! Hoe dan ook, uiteindelijk is het een behoorlijk grote kit geworden. Scroll naar beneden voor de links en de complete lijst met stations! Today it's exactly 20 years ago that Disneyland Resort Paris finally opened its gates. To celebrate we decided to create a Blogtrain. Everyone of us created a part of this train, so you'll hop through the park. I was lucky to be linked with Fantasyland. I really didn't mind, because now I got to use the colos I love! But it was harder then expected. Anyway, it turned out to be a jampacked kit! Scroll down for the download links and all the stations where the train will stop! Fairytale Castle

Vandaag is er weer een nieuwe release van Designs by Sarah: Fairytale Castle. Deze kit is gebaseerd op het Kasteel van Doornroosje in Disneyland Parijs. Kom over een paar uur terug, dan begrijp je waarom! ;-)

Because we nearly celebrate our 10th weddinganniversary, I have scrapped with some of our weddingphotos lately. Just like this time. I used the newest kit by Schmooangel Designs: She Said Yes! Weren't we a hansome couple?

Designer Challenge #1 at Mousescrappers - Blog Hop Freebie

Op Mousescrappers was er afgelopen maand een nieuw soort uitdaging: de designer challenge. De bedoeling was om met de aangeboden kleuren een aantal dingen te maken. Dit kon van alles zijn: papers, elements, templates, alphas. Alle delen van de verschillende deelnemers worden tot een grote kit gemaakt. Deze gaat verkocht worden op Mousescrappers om zo de site te kunnen onderhouden. Een goed doel dus, waar ik graag aan mee werk! Naast je gedeelte voor de grote kit, mocht je ook een add-on maken om als freebie weg te geven. Ook dat heb ik gedaan en die is hier beneden te vinden! Alle freebies zij te vinden als je van blog naar blog hopt!

At Mousescrappers there was last month a new kind of challenge: the Designer Challenge. If you joined, you had to make some things with the provided colorpalette. This could be anything: papers, elements, templates, alphas. With all parts made by all the different designers they will make one big kit. That is going to be sold at Mousescrappers to keep the site up and running! I thought that would be a good reason, so I joined and made a part myself. If you joined, you were allowed to make a freebie add-on. That's what I did too and you can find it down here! If you want more, you just have to hop from blog to blog.

Park Pals

Vandaag komt FranB Desings met haar nieuwste kit: Park Pals. Is dit geen vrolijke kit? Ik wordt er in ieder geval helemaal blij van. En... hij is groot, zeker als je haar freebies ook er bij zoekt. Die zijn te vinden op haar blog en er is een daily download op het With Love Studio Forum. Deze kit is perfect voor het scrappen van al je (Disney)vrienden! En dat is wat ik heb gedaan. Zelfs mijn dochter Joline heeft er mee geknutseld!

Today FranB Desings releases her newest kit: Park Pals. Isn't it a funny and bright kit? Well, at least it makes me happy! And... it's huge, and you can make it even bigger by searching for her freebies at her blog and there is adaily download at the With Love Studio Forum. This kit is ideal for scrapping your (Disney)friends! And that's what I did. Even my daughter Joline scrapped a page with this kit!

With Love Studio

Een paar weken geleden zag ik bij With Love Studio een CT-Call. Hier heb ik op gereageerd en... meteen de zelfde avond te horen gekregen dat ik was 'aangenomen'. Per 1 april (geen grapje) ben ik daar dus aan het team toegevoegd. Helaas waren er wat strubbelingen, voordat ik aan het werk kon gaan. Maar uiteindelijk is het allemaal goed gekomen en kon ik beginnen met knutselen. De eerste designer waarvoor ik geknutseld heb, is Designs by Angel. Zij heeft vanaf vandaag een allerschattigste kit in haar shop, genaamd Sprigs. Dit is een collab, maar in mijn knutsel heb ik alleen haar gedeelte gebruikt.

A few weeks ago I saw a CT-Call at With Love Studio. I decided to send an apllication and... got accepted that same night! Since april 1st (no joke) I'm joining their team. Unfortunately there were some troubles before I got to go to work with their designs! But it all turned out very well and I could start creating. The first designer I made a layout for was Designs by Angel. She has the loveliest and cutest kit coming out today, called Sprigs. It is a collab, but I only used her part for my layout.

Colors of the Mouse Jelly Alpha

Een paar weken terug was er een Scraplift uitdaging op Mousescrappers. Designs by Sarah had hiervoor een leuke prijs beschikbaar gesteld: Colors of the Mouse Jelly Alphas. Natuurlijk heb ik mee gedaan aan de uitdaging. En ik heb de Colors of the Mouse freebies (gemaakt door Designs by Sarah) gebruikt samen met de alpha's voor de layout hierboven. Mocht je niet mee hebben gedaan aan deze uitdaging, dan kan je vanaf nu dit alpha in Designs by Sarah's winkel vinden.

A few weeks ago there was a Scraplift Challenge at Mousescrappers. Designs by Sarah made a very cute participation prize: Colors of the Mouse Jelly Alpha. Of course I joined in the challenge. But I also made a layout with Colors of the Mouse freebies (made by Designs by Sarah as well) and the jelly Alphas. Two by Two

Zelf vind ik het vaak best lastig om strakke layouts te maken met 2 foto's. Het oogt al gauw saai en weinig spannend. Gelukkig komt FranB Desings met een nieuwe templatepack. Hierin 4 templates met ieder 2 foto's. Doordat er gebruik wordt gemaakt van verschillende lagen, wordt het een strakke en levendige layout. Een 'must-have' templatepack dus!

Personally I think it's hard to get clean layouts with just two pictures. It looks boring and not very exciting. So I'm glad FranB Desings made a new templatepack. In this pack you'll find 4 templates, all with just two pics. Because there are so many layers to use, your layout turned out to be really vibrant and clean. It's a 'must-have' template pack.
For this layout I used the kit Songbird by FranB Desings, which I won after last week's scraplift challenge.

Ocean Kisses

Er was eens... een kleine zeemeermin. Op een dag kwam zij boven de zee en wie zag ze daar? Juist ja, de prins van haar dromen. Na veel wikken en wegen besloot zij dat zij bij hem wilde zijn. In ruil voor haar stem, kreeg zij voeten om te kunnen lopen en dansen. Met dit verhaal in gedachten heeft Magical Desings haar kit Ocean Kisses gemaakt. Ideaal dus voor foto's van ontmoetingen met Ariel, maar natuurlijk ook voor zwembad- of strandfoto's. Mijn pagina heb ik omgetoverd tot een quickpage, die je onderaan kan downloaden.

After much deliberation, she decided she wanted to be with him. In exchange for her voice, she got feet to walk and dance. With this story in mind Magical Desings created her newest kit, Ocean Kisses. It's perfect for your encounters with Ariel, but it's also useful for you swimmingpool and beach photos. I turned my page into a quickpage, which you can download when you scroll down.

LOTD

Vorige week heb ik nog mee gedaan aan de scraplift challenge van Fran B Designs op Mousescrappers. Daarvoor heb ik afgelopen zaterdag deze layout gemaakt. Toen ik zondagochtend mijn mail opende, zag ik tot mijn verbazing dat in 2 (!) verschillende gallerijen deze layout tot Layout van de Dag was verkozen! Ik was compleet in shock! ;-) Ik heb hier trouwens het Just Ducky kitje van FranB Desings voor gebruikt, die vorige week was uit gekomen.
Last week I joined in the Scraplift Challenge hosted by FranB Designs over at Mousescrappers. Last Saturday I made this layout. On Sundaymorning I opened my e-mail and I got quite a surprise! I saw this layout was chosen to be the Layout of the Day in two (!) galleries. I was completely shocked! ;-) I used the Just Ducky kit by FranB Desings, which was released last week.

It's happy, it's bright... (+freebie)

It's Tiki-time! Dus pak je hoolahoop en swing mee op Caribbische klanken. Voor al die vrolijke layouts en andere knutsels komt Designs by Sarah met haar nieuwste kit: Tiki-time. St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Hoewel, hier in Nederland kennen we dit typisch Ierse feest eigenlijk niet. Ja, degene die wel eens in een Iese pub of in Ierland komen, zij zullen dit wel kennen. Maar echt gevierd wordt het hier niet, zoals in Ierland of Amerika.
Maar wie mij kent, weet dat ik 12 jaar geleden au pair in Ierland was. Toen heb ik dus kennis mogen maken met dit feest en ook de parade in Dublin mogen bij wonen. Wat een happening! In ieder geval heeft dit altijd wel een plekje in mijn hart behouden en vandaar dat ik deze freebie heb gemaakt.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Although, overhere in the Netherlands we don't know this typical Irish Holiday! Well, maybe those who like to go to an Irish pub or who have vistied Ireland, they might know about this. But it isn't celebrated here, like it is in Ireland or America! But the people who knows me, know that I've been au pair in Ireland 12 years ago. I was lucky enough to celebrate with the Irish. I even attended/watched the Dublin Parade. That was quite a happening! Anyway, it always kept a little place in my heart. That's why I created this little freebie!

Goodmorning!

Goedemorgen en eet smakelijk! Wat is er leuker om een (vakantie)dag te beginnen met een goed ontbijt? Helaas heb (of neem) ik er doordeweeks niet echt de tijd voor, maar tijdens een vakantie is het toch wel lekker om met elkaar te zitten en te ontbijten. Bijzondere ontbijtjes zijn het ook zeker waard om gescrapt te worden. En daarom komt Designs by Sarah met haar nieuwste kit: Bacon & Eggs. Deze keer geen freebie, hopelijk volgende week weer! ;-)

Good morning and bon appetit! What's better then start you (vacation)day with a nice breakfast? Unfortunately I don't have (or take) that much time for breakfast during weekdays, but when on holiday it's good to sit together and start your day with a lovely breakfast. Special breakfasts are worth to be scrapped for sure. And that's why Designs by Sarah has a new kit: Bacon & Eggs. This week I don't have a freebie, maybe you're luckier next week! ;-)

Mousescrappers

Deze week heb ik weer eens meegedaan aan een paar uitdagingen op Mousescrappers. De eerste scrapsel heb ik gemaakt met de Friends kit van FranB Desings.
De tweede is gemaakt met de Fairytale Garden van Designs by Sarah. Dit is echt een kit waar ik van hou, precies mijn kleuren en thema! Vergeet niet komende donderdag terug te komen voor een nieuwe release (en vanaf dinsdag maak je weer kans om die nieuwe release te winnen. Info volgt!).

This week I finally had some time to join in some Musescrappers challenges. The first one I made is with the Friends-collection by FranB Desings.
The second I made with Fairytale Garden by Designs by Sarah. That is a kit I really love, just the right colors and theme for my liking!
